In September Styled Events styled the National Breast Cancer Foundation’s annual ball. The ball featured full length hot pink cloths, white chair covers, pink and white candy striped walls and fairly-lit willow centerpieces.
Around the world during October, landmarks and monuments are lit pink to focus attention on breast cancer and its impact on the communities in which we live. Thanks to Styled Events generosity and support, Australia was able to participate in this Global Illumination for the 4th consecutive year to officially launch Breast Cancer Month in Australia.
The illumination of more than 20 buildings glowing pink into the night across 10 cities, was made possible by the efforts of National Breast Cancer Foundation’s supporters. Each city hosted their own unique event. We are absolutely delighted to report that the efforts of all involved helped to generate close to half a million dollars for breast cancer research, our most successful launch ever.
Your generous sponsorship of design and decoration of the venue was very much appreciated and the event would not have enjoyed such success without your support. We look forward to your involvement next year to achieve a brighter and ‘pinker’ 5th anniversary event.
You will be pleased to know that due to the success of the Pink Ribbon Campaign and our other fundraising NBCF will commit a further $4 milllion to new research. This will bring our total research commitment to $8.4 million over the next year. Thank you for making this happen.
